I first used thermal imaging around six years ago when I had a blockage on a heating system. I needed a more accurate way to locate the issue, and using a thermal camera allowed me to find and resolve it quickly. I’ve had a really positive experience with the TOPDON TC005 and it’s been a great tool for day-to day use. I use thermal imaging for identifying poor circulation in heating systems, spotting trapped air, locating magnetite build-up, and checking radiator performance. It’s also useful for finding hidden leaks and locating pipework under floors or in walls without causing unnecessary damage.

The screen is clear and easy to read. It feels solid in my hand and is not that heavy. Pictures can be taken quickly and is a nice feature if you need to save them for any reason. I really don't have any downsides to it. Would recommend.
